In short
We ask every active user for a review in the same way, whether or not we think they are happy. Any reward for reviewing never depends on what the review says, and it must be disclosed in the review. We never write, seed, edit or help draft a review.
How we ask
- We publish this policy before we ask anyone for a review.
- We ask every clinician who has used Squte for 30 days, with the same message, not only the ones we expect to be pleased.
- If we offer anything in return, such as a discount, it is the same whether the review is good or bad, and we ask the reviewer to say they received it.
- We never write, seed or help draft a review, and we don’t ask anyone to change one.
- Testimonials on this site are labelled as a selection, and we keep a record of how and when each one was given.
We don’t have any public reviews yet. We will link to our review profiles here once they exist.
What we never do
- Post reviews ourselves, or ask friends, family or staff to post them.
- Offer anything in return for a positive review.
- Ask only happy users, or ask unhappy users to hold off.
- Hide, bury or ask a platform to remove a genuine negative review.
- Paraphrase a review or testimonial, or quote it out of context.
- Show a star rating on this site that doesn’t come from genuine reviews.
Testimonials on this site
A testimonial appears only with the person’s written permission. We quote it word for word and say if they used Squte free, for example as a pilot user or under a founding offer. A testimonial shows one person’s experience; it is never used as proof of a claim such as time saved, which we would need to show separately.
The rules we follow
- Since 6 April 2025, fake reviews and reviews with concealed incentives are banned outright in the UK under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (CMS summary). The Competition and Markets Authority opened five investigations into review practices in March 2026 (RPC).
- The UK advertising code’s rules on testimonials and endorsements apply to all our marketing, including to dentists buying as a business (CAP Code, section 3; ASA guidance).
Raising a concern
If you think a review or testimonial about Squte breaks this policy, email hello@squte.co.uk. We look into every report and reply within five working days.
