In short
Every page answers its question in the first few lines, links each fact to the source it came from, and is checked by a person before it goes up. We make an AI dental scribe, so we say so wherever it matters, and we correct verified errors within five working days.
Answer first
Each guide opens with a short answer to the question in its title. Each heading below it answers one smaller question. Detail comes after the answer, not before it.
Sources
We link to the primary source wherever one exists: the GDC, NHS England, the MHRA, HMRC, the ICO, the defence bodies, published research and each company’s own terms. Where a source is behind a members’ login, we summarise it in our own words and say so rather than copying it.
We never invent or round up a statistic, and we don’t repeat one we can’t trace to where it came from.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. A person then checks every fact against its source before the page is published. We don’t publish pages that exist only to catch searches, and we don’t mass-produce pages for every town or every competitor. This follows Google’s guidance on AI-assisted content.
Other companies’ products
- We copy prices and terms from each company’s own website, link to the page, and give the date we read it.
- We re-check them every month and change the date only when we have looked again.
- We compare like with like: the same plan level, the same billing period, with VAT shown.
- We compare published terms only. We haven’t tested other products’ notes, so we don’t judge their quality.
- We don’t rank ourselves first or call any product the best.
- Any company can email us to correct a fact about its product, with a link to where it is published.
Our interest
Squte makes an AI dental scribe and sells it to UK practices. That gives us an interest in every subject we write about. We say so on each guide and comparison, and we point out where another tool may suit you better.
Clinical review
We don’t yet have a named clinical reviewer. Until we do, our guides are general information drawn from published guidance, and their bylines say “By the Squte team”. When a dentist joins as reviewer, their name, qualifications and GDC number will appear on each guide they have checked, with the date.
Nothing on this site is clinical, legal or tax advice. For decisions about your practice, ask your defence body, your data protection lead or your accountant.
Dates
Every page shows the date it was last updated. That date changes only when the content changes, not when we fix a typing error or redesign the page. Comparison pages also show the date we last read each company’s published terms.
Corrections
If you think something here is wrong, email hello@squte.co.uk with a link to the page and, if you can, the source. We check it and, if it is wrong, fix it within five working days. A fix that changes a fact is noted at the foot of that page with the date.
Our rules for reviews and testimonials are in the reviews policy.
