In short

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising tools. It counts visits in totals that identify no one, and you can switch that off. If you ask for a free trial, we keep the details you give us on Squte’s servers in London to contact you about it. The photographs load from Unsplash’s image service, which sees your IP address. If you email us, we keep your email to reply to you.

Who we are

Counting visits

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, from Vercel, the company that hosts this website, to learn which pages are useful and how people find us. For each page view it records the page, the website you came from, your approximate location (country, region and city), your device type, operating system and browser, and the time.

It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. To tell one visit from the next it uses a code made from your request, and Vercel discards it after 24 hours. We see totals only, never an individual visitor, and nothing is linked to your name, your IP address or a trial request (Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy page).

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: knowing which pages help dentists. You don’t have to be counted. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, you aren’t. Otherwise, use the switch below.

Why, and for how long

  • Server logs are kept to run the website securely. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. They are kept only as long as the host needs them for that.
  • Trial requests are used only to contact you about your free trial and getting started with Squte. Only Squte staff can see them, in our systems and in the staff mailbox that receives new requests. Our lawful basis is taking steps towards a contract at your request. If you don’t start a trial, we delete your details 12 months after we last heard from you. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we delete them straight away, from our systems and from the staff mailbox.
  • Emails are kept so we can reply, and, if you become a customer, for as long as your account is open and then for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or taking steps towards a contract if you ask about using Squte.

We don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you or someone else. You can also object to how we use it. Email hello@squte.co.uk and we reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We’d be grateful for the chance to put it right first.

Changes

If we change what this website collects, we update this page first and change the date at the top. On 25 October 2026 we added the visit counting described above.
